A few weeks ago, I was strolling along the web, when I suddenly stumbled on amazing dolls on Deviant !
I had lost a complete interest in Bjd for the last 3 years at least, when a lot of Bjd companies started spreading all over asia with not so good looking dolls in their hands. Most of them looked like copies of the previous ones, and their quality was not that good either.
In France, Bjd became some kind of fashion item u had to havey, but there was hardly an interesting creativity behind it all
When I came on Deviant a few weeks ago, I realised there was something new to see, amazing customised dolls, with amazing looks. New faces and most of all great artists behind their cameras! A BJD golden age
.
My banker must be furious, for I immediately fell back in the shopping frenzy, and rushed to buy new dolls
. None of them has reached my Paris flat yet, but they will soon be there
.
Till then, I posted some of the pics I had done of my dolls( who are still sleeping in my wardrobe)
These pics were done around late 2004- late 2006
I was using a not so good Kodak camera at that time
I hope my new sony brings better perspectives in the future
.
I want to thank Madam Maumau, Kawaimon, Eva Wilson and so many more to have restored my passion for these little resin heads
Feels like Christmas again
